On March 17, 2022, CalWave CEO and Co-Founder Marcus Lehmann provided testimony for the potential of ocean waves and our technology at New Jersey’s wave energy hearing.
Lehmann was invited speak by Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak, the leader championing the State’s legislative effort to add wave energy to NJ’s energy master plan. Other experts who provided testimony at the hearing included New Jersey League of Conservation Campaigns Director Patty Cronheim, Professor Muhammad R. Hajj, Chair of the Department of Civil, Environmental and Ocean Engineering and Director of the Davidson Laboratory at New Jersey’s Stevens Institute of Technology, Eco Wave Power CEO Inna Braverman, and Ocean Power Technologies President & CEO Philipp Stratmann.
